Arcola park

About

Are you in Miami and you are looking for a place to have a great and fun time? Arcola Park is your go-to park.

The Park is one of the few parks in Miami-Dade County blessed with state-of-the-art facilities that enhance fun and relaxation.

It is a great place to go with families,  friends, and loved ones to catch some fun and have a great time together.

However, one beautiful thing about Arcola Park is that it has something for everyone — both adults and young ones and adults alike. Everyone has got something to do in Arcola Park.

The kids will especially love Arcola Park because of the Tot-Lot playground.

The Tot-Lot Playground in the Park has a lot of fun equipment for toddlers to play with and enjoy themselves while older children will enjoy the playground and recreation center. My child kept asking me to take her back to Arcola Park since the last time we visited.

Also, if you are a lover of sports, then you are not in the wrong place if you find yourself in Arcola Park. There is a lighted handball court, tennis court, and a racquetball court among many others.

Why Arcola Park?

Peradventure you are wondering why you should choose Arcola Park amongst many other beautiful parks in Miami-Dade County, you need not doubt your choice because Arcola Park is one of the best parks you can find around in Miami-Dade County.

Not only is Arcola Park known for its excellent outdoor fun activities, the array of sports facilities portrayed at Arcola Park endeared residents, visitors, and tourists alike to it.

Also, you don’t have to be a professional before you can make use of the sports facilities. However, if you just want to take a beautiful evening stroll, you can make use of the park’s pathways. The pathway can be very windy so I recommend you go along with a cardigan or hoodie.

Another reason why you should visit Arcola Park is because of its close proximity to Lake Arcola. If you are thinking about fishing, just cross over the street and head to the lake.

It is always a beautiful experience fishing at Lake Arcola. I remembered catching a blue catfish, a sturgeon, a flathead, a starfish, and many more.

Playground and Sports Activities

Arcola Park has a big outdoor space for fun, recreation, exercise, and sports. The park also has shelters readily available for camping and events.

There is a playground for kids to run around and enjoy themselves. The toddlers and little kids will particularly find the Tot-Lot playground amusing while older kids will enjoy the outdoor playground and recreation center.

Furthermore, for sports lovers, as I mentioned earlier, Arcola Park is blessed with state-of-the-art facilities that will give sports lovers that unique sporting experience.

There is a lighted handball court, a lighted racquetball court, and a lighted tennis court at the park.

Arcola Park offers exercise courses for residents and visitors alike. Also, Free Enhance Fitness Classes are designed for active older adults (55+). A certified fitness instructor leads the classes, which are held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Moreso, people of all ages can take classes and participate in activities indoors at the air-conditioned Technology Learning Center.

You can come along with your friends, families and loved ones to the park and you all can have a fun time together.

There are picnic shelters available for rentals but they are all reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis. Therefore, you need to inform the park authorities ahead in case you will be needing a space for yourself and your loved ones.
